We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team.
As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and products to various locations.
This is a crucial role in our company as you will be the face of our organization to our customers.
Duties:
- Safely operate a commercial vehicle (van, tractor-trailer, or refrigerated trailer) to deliver goods to designated locations - Load and unload products from the vehicle using proper lifting techniques - Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries - Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns or issues - Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate delivery records - Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving - Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record - Ability to drive various types of vehicles, including vans, tractor-trailers, or refrigerated trailers - Proficient in load/unload procedures and techniques for heavy lifting - Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and address their needs - Familiarity with courier services and delivery processes is a plus
