Hill Country Premier Lodging Hill Country Premier Lodging Canyon Lake, TX Canyon Lake, TX Full-time Full-time $17 - $18 an hour $17 - $18 an hour 2 days ago 2 days ago 2 days ago Maintenance Technician Hill Country Premier Lodging (HCPL), a vacation rental management company based in Wimberley, Texas, is looking for a qualified candidate to serve as a Maintenance Technician on our Field Services Team.
In this position, the candidates will help maintain, repair, and enhance vacation rental properties represented by HCPL.
Responsibilities:
Maintain vacation rental properties with eye toward safety and asset protection.
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance assignments on vacation rental homes.
Clean and maintain pools and hot tubs inclusive of adjusting chemicals, cleaning filters, and maintaining equipment.
Remove trash from properties.
Respond to any guest maintenance requests as directed by office staff Troubleshoot maintenance issues.
Estimate time and extent of repairs.
Interact with guests and homeowners in professional manner.
Schedule, update, and close work orders in maintenance management system Other varied duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Must possess technical knowledge and aptitude for basic repairs.
Carpentry, electrical, plumbing experience preferred.
Must be familiar with maintenance tools and equipment and their use.
Must have ability to clean pools and hot tubs and accurately adjust water chemistry.
Must be able to maintain pool equipment.
CPO certification preferred.
Must own a Smartphone to be able to communicate with office staff as well as to access maintenance tickets in the field.
Must be able to quickly learn maintenance software.
Strong communicator.
Able to read, write, and speak English.
Must be able to work flexible hours/variable day schedule including weekends.
Must be able to handle a physical workload.
Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods of time.
Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record.
High School diploma or equivalent Must maintain a professional appearance at all times.
1 year prior maintenance experience Compensation:
