As an instructor, you will be responsible for providing instruction, guidance, and mentorship to elementary school students who are interested in learning the fundamentals of basketball.
The ideal candidate will be punctual, reliable, and passionate about working with kids.
Also live close to Startzville Elementary school.
Responsibilities:
Arrive at the school by 2:
45 PM and ensure that all necessary equipment is available for the class.
Welcome, engage and check in with each student on your roster as they arrive.
Provide fun and engaging basketball instruction to elementary school students from 3:
05 PM to 4:
05 PM.
Ensure that all safety protocols are followed during the class.
Encourage and motivate students to learn and grow in their basketball skills.
Communicate with supervisors, parents and school staff as needed.
Requirements:
Passionate about working with kids and helping them learn and grow.
Prior experience coaching or teaching basketball is preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage with young children.
Ability to create a positive and fun learning environment for children.
Must be punctual and reliable.
Ability to pass a background check.
Hours and Pay:
The position is part-time and requires the instructor to arrive by 2:
45 PM.
Instruction time is approximately from 3:
05 PM to 4:
05 PM.
Pay for this position is excellent and will be discussed during the interview process.
